Alexander Michaelovsky- Violinist. Alex was born in Odessa, Ukraine, former Soviet Union. At the age of 4, he started to learn violin with Bella Barsky. He graduated from music school with a gold medal and attended Odessa Music College. He received his bachelor degree in graduate studies and in 1990 his Master’s Degree in Music. Alex emigrated to the United States in 1991. He has worked with The Miami Symphony Orchestra, the Latin American Chamber Orchestra, the Miami Opera and the Miami Ballet amongst others. Michael was in good company during these times as famous jazz greats Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Coleman Hawkins, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach, Errol Garner, and many others, were all members & friends of the original “patron saint of jazz”. Marcos Vega Harpist , Marcos was born in San Lorenzo, Paraguay, South America of Spanish/Italian and Guaraní Indian descent. Marcos Vega studied music at the Conservatory of Asuncion, Paraguay, and the Conservatory of Cincinnati. In 1963, Marcos Vega toured throughout Mexico, Central and South America. He also performed at the World International Fair in San Salvador, several television programs, and numerous nightclubs and hotels. Since 1979, Marcos Vega has performed as a solo harpist at the Jupiter Beach Resort Hilton; The Breakers International Hotel, the Ritz Carlton Hotel, and the Mar-A-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida. Marina Stoliar- Pianist Originally from Moscow, Marina Stolyar has been a member of the faculty of Harid Conservatory since 1995. Marina Stolyar received her Bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Gnessin Music College in Moscow and her Master degree from the Gorky State Conservatory. Since her arrival in the United States in 1991 she continues her career as a solo performer, musical director and accompanist for ballet festivals and competitions.
